Medical Interpreter/Translator

Location: Keystone Family Medicine – Fifth Avenue
Schedule: Full Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends or Holidays

The Medical Interpreter/Translator provides both written and verbal English/Spanish interpretation and translation to ensure Spanish-speaking patients receive seamless, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate English/Spanish interpretation during patient visits
• Translate written documents and patient information as needed
• Assist with scheduling, billing, and patient follow-ups
• Update and maintain patient charts
• Support providers with interpretation needs in clinical and office settings
• Perform general office duties (filing, phones, copying, scanning, etc.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Prior medical interpreting experience preferred
• Healthcare office setting experience and comfort using telephones computers, and other equipment preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Keystone Pediatrics (Waynesboro location) is seeking a full-time LPN/CMA to join our dedicated team providing care to children.

Position: LPN/CMA/MA

Location: Keystone Pediatrics 45 Roadside Ave Waynesboro, PA 17268

Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) No weekends and no holidays.

Responsibilities/ Experience:

• Previous office nursing experience and knowledge electronic health records preferred

• Handle phone calls and request medical records for new patients
• Track referrals, lab results, and diagnoses
• Authorize medications as needed
• Comfortable administering vaccines to children.
• Float to assist other nurses when required
• Must be organized and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus

We’re a fast-paced, expanding Community Health Center looking for an LPN or MA to join our team and help improve the wellness of our neighbors and children. Applicants must be comfortable working with infants and children as well as their parents. Also, must be comfortable administering vaccines when needed to children and infants.

Previous office nursing experience and knowledge of electronic medical records preferred. This nursing position completes many tasks such as phone calls, requesting medical records for new patients, referral tracking, lab and diagnosis tracking, and authorization for medications. Will also float to assist other nurses when needed.

Must be able to multitask, be well organized, a good team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Keystone Pediatrics is open Monday to Friday and on Saturdays with limited hours offering weekend shift differential pay.

Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

LPN Occupational Health Nurse

Full Time (Monday-Friday)

About the Role:

The LPN Occupational Health Nurse plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining the health and safety of employees within the organization. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, including injury prevention, health assessments, and management of work-related illnesses. The nurse will collaborate closely with management and employees to develop and implement health programs that comply with regulatory standards and support a safe work environment. Additionally, the role involves conducting health education, administering immunizations, and managing case documentation to ensure timely and effective care. Ultimately, the Occupational Health Nurse contributes to reducing workplace hazards and enhancing overall employee well-being, which supports organizational productivity and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program with a minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience. 
• Current CPR certification. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in occupational health nursing or related healthcare setting preferred. 
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and workers’ compensation laws preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)- EPIC knowledge preferred. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that company employees’ health requirements are met. 
• Coordinates, completes, and tracks new employee pre-employment physicals, ensuring the employee has all necessary vaccinations and screenings.
• Provides vaccinations for new employees as needed.
• Manages, coordinates, administers, and tracks annual employee vaccinations.
• Manages, coordinates, and tracks employee TB screenings and testing.
• Functions as the Respiratory Program Administrator, providing, tracking, and coordinating Fit Testing throughout the organization.
• Provides required infection prevention and control education to new employees or as requested.
• Reviews and logs all employee infectious disease exposures.
• Tracks blood-borne pathogen events to ensure employees have appropriate follow up.
• Workers’ Compensation Incident management and tracking.
• Encourages employees to take responsibility for their own health through health education, wellness activities, and campaigns.
• Assists with policy development, revision, and review as it applies to employee health.

Skills:

The required skills enable the nurse to effectively assess and manage employee health concerns, ensuring timely intervention and prevention of workplace illnesses and injuries. Strong communication skills are essential for educating employees and collaborating with management to foster a culture of safety. Organizational skills support accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. Preferred skills, such as certification in occupational health nursing and experience with EHR systems, enhance the nurse’s ability to deliver specialized care and efficiently manage health records. Together, these skills ensure the nurse can provide comprehensive occupational health services that promote employee well-being and organizational compliance.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, accuracy, and compassion. Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls promptly (by the third ring) and professionally.
• Identify the reason for the call and provide appropriate assistance or information.

• Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments via phone, Solution Reach, or EMR systems.
• Book incoming referrals in a timely manner.
• Assist with mailings and administrative projects when call volume permits.
