Welcome to Keystone Pediatric Developmental Center, where we provide compassionate, individualized care to help children and young adults reach their fullest potential. We proudly serve children, adolescents, and young adults from birth through age 21, offering comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based services tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. We partner with families to provide personalized, family-centered care in a supportive and welcoming environment. Whether your child has a developmental delay, congenital condition, hearing loss, illness, injury, or another diagnosis, our experienced team is dedicated to helping them achieve their fullest potential.
Our services include:
- Occupational Therapy – Helping children develop the skills needed for everyday activities, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, visual-motor integration, and independence.
- Speech-Language Therapy – Evaluation and treatment for speech, language, social communication, feeding, and other communication disorders.
- Pediatric Audiology – Comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, programming, maintenance, and repairs to support children’s hearing and communication needs.
Keystone Life Skills Center (Children age 12-21)
The Keystone Life Skills Center is designed for adolescents and young adults ages 12–21 who benefit from occupational therapy and speech-language therapy in an environment tailored to older learners. Our program combines traditional occupational therapy and speech-language therapy, focused on strengthening the underlying skills needed for success, with meaningful, real-world experiences that help participants apply those skills to everyday life. By building foundational abilities and translating them into functional daily activities, we help teens and young adults develop greater independence, confidence, and success at home, school, work, and in the community. Areas of focus include:
- Traditional occupational therapy and speech-language therapy to develop foundational motor, communication, cognitive, and executive functioning skills
- Socialization and communication
- Pre-vocational and vocational skills
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Home management
- Money management and budgeting
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Community engagement
- Shopping and community navigation
- Problem-solving, organization, and executive functioning
- And more, based on each individual’s goals
Keystone Feeding Program
Providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and young adults experiencing feeding and swallowing challenges. Our SOS Approach to Feeding®-trained therapists use evidence-based, child-centered strategies to help children develop positive relationships with food while improving the skills needed for safe, successful eating. Our goal is to help children build confidence with eating, expand their food repertoire, and make mealtimes a more positive experience for the entire family. We address a wide range of feeding concerns, including:
- Oral motor and oral sensory challenges
- Limited food variety and picky eating
- Sensory-based feeding difficulties
- Difficulty transitioning to age-appropriate foods and textures
- Nutritional concerns related to restricted diets
- Mealtime behaviors and family mealtime support
