Credentialing Coordinator
Full Time (40 hours weekly)
Monday – Friday
No weekends or holidays!

The credentialing coordinator’s primary duties include conducting physician and practitioner credentialing/privileging process for new appointments and reappointments. Understands the requirements for credentialing and privileging. Maintains credentialing and privileging files and assists in processing paperwork as required to update and re-credential practitioners. Participates in team meetings along with privileged facilities, WellSpan, to ensure complete and accurate credentialing/privileging. Coordinates distribution of appointment/reappointment material with Chambersburg Hospital credentialing group to ensure one packet of information is sent to providers. Coordinates with Chambersburg Hospital credentialing group to ensure that Keystone Health appointment/reappointment files are accurate and completed on time. Provides information to Director of Human Resources, in a timely manner, to present at Board Meetings for approval of appointment/reappointment. Also oversees the coordination of medical staff credentialing (LPN and RN licensing, and CPR Certification).
Qualifications:
Associate degree and a minimum of two years’ experience and/or training in all aspects of human resources, preferably in the medical field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in health center credentialing for providers to comply with Joint Commission is required.
