Keystone Health is seeking a part-time Bilingual Health Educator to join the team.
This position is located in Gardners, PA.
Under the supervision of the Office Manager/Outreach Coordinator, the Health Educator is responsible for providing various health screening services, risk reduction counseling and health education to migrant and seasonal farmworkers at farmer worker homes, labor camps, and other outreach settings. The Health Educator will work with the Office Manager/Outreach Coordinator to refer and assist farmworkers in accessing medical and community resources to meet their health needs.
Must be available to travel to farmworker camps and other work sites during evening hours when farmworkers are finished working.
Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required. Community health worker or medical assistant training is highly desired, but not required.
Licenses and Certifications: Current CPR certification. Current PA Driver’s license.
Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish proficiently is required.
