Monica Diehl, MSN, RNC, has been appointed Chief Nursing Officer for Keystone Health, and will officially assume her leadership responsibilities January 1, 2022.
Diehl received her Master of Science degree in Nursing Education from Wilson College, and her Associate degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University. She is a current participant in the Leadership Franklin County program (class of 2022) and was previously employed as a Registered Nurse with Family Birthing Services and worked as an adjunct faculty member at Wilson College. She was awarded the 2021 Healthcare Worker of the Year Award by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.
Of her new role, Diehl says, “Keystone Health is a remarkable organization, and I am amazed everyday by the hard work and dedication of our employees as we work to improve the health and quality of life of the people and communities we serve. Staying true to our mission, I look forward to the work ahead while we continue to meet and adapt to these needs. Like many healthcare organizations, our response to COVID-19 has been a priority and will continue to be, but I look forward to strengthening and developing new initiatives to improve the health of our community.”

Keystone Health saw close to 60,000 patients through 231,000 visits in 2020 across its various practices and programs including: Keystone Family Medicine, Keystone Pediatrics, Keystone Behavioral Health, Keystone Dental Care, Keystone Urgent Care, Keystone Pediatric Developmental Center, Keystone Community Health Services, Keystone Internal Medicine, Keystone Pediatric Dental, Keystone Pharmacy, Keystone Women’s Care, Keystone Internal Medicine, Keystone Infectious Diseases, and the Keystone HIV/STD Program.
