How did you decide to become a dentist?
My journey into dentistry was shaped by my passion for science and the desire to aid both my friends and community. Combining these interests led me to pursue dentistry as a career.
What do you like about working in the dental field?
Working in the dental field allows me to provide evidence-based treatments to patients, addressing their dental concerns while ensuring their overall well-being.
Where did you go to college?
I pursued my education at San Martin de Porres University in Peru for seven years before obtaining my DMD at Boston University in the United States.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The most fulfilling aspect of my job is utilizing evidence-based dentistry to assist patients with their dental needs.
Why did you choose to work at Keystone?

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I indulge in running, exercising, playing tennis, and hiking with my wife, Anna.
Where is your hometown and, if you are new to the area, what do you like about Franklin County so far?
Though originally from Lima, Peru, I moved to Chambersburg in 2018 and now consider Franklin County my home. The welcoming community and the presence of my in-laws make this place special to me.
What’s an interesting fact about yourself or something people might be surprised to know about you?
An intriguing fact about me is my multicultural background—I’ve lived in Peru, Canada, and the U.S.
Is there anything else you’d like people to know about you?
Lastly, my wife and I are overjoyed to have a Boston Terrier named Charles as a part of our family.
