Get to know Angielika Trinh, Keystone Dental’s newest Registered Dental Hygienist!
How did you decide to become a Registered Dental Hygienist?
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I knew I had a passion for helping others, and I decided to become a dental hygienist to give back to my community and to help other individuals to learn and care more for their oral health. I was a dental assistant at first, then then I pursued on to being a hygienist.
Where did you receive your education?
I received my education at Allegany College of Maryland.
What do you like about working in the dental field?
I like to interact with my patients and really get to know them. I also like to listen to what patients have to say.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love educating patients on ways to maintain or improve their oral health; also I love meeting new people!
Why did you choose to work at Keystone?
I chose to work at Keystone because they offer so much to the community; it really inspires me to help in any way I can. Making a difference for someone whether it is small or big means a huge accomplishment to me.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy hiking, painting, reading or going to the dog park with my two pups!
Where is your hometown and, if you are new to the area, what do you like about Franklin County so far?
My hometown is Gettysburg. I like that Franklin County has different areas you can explore!
Is there anything else you’d like people to know about you?
I LOVE the 80’s/90’s era!!
