Keystone Health Wins Health System Excellence Award
Keystone Health was recently awarded the Health Systems Excellence Award by the American Cancer Society for its support of the American Cancer Society’s mission initiatives.
The American Cancer Society’s Health Systems Excellence Award recognizes health systems that demonstrate exemplary support in advancing the fight against cancer. The award is designed to recognize health systems that have gone above and beyond to embrace the full scope of their relationship with the American Cancer Society and advancing organizational priorities.
In 2015, Keystone Health participated in the American Cancer Society Nationwide Practice Facilitation Pilot, identified specific strategies to improve cervical cancer screening rates across the health system, and committed to the “80% by 2018” initiative, where Keystone Health has committed to working towards ensuring that at least 80% of all eligible patients are being screened for colorectal cancer by 2018.
