The Keystone Health January Employee Spotlight shines on Dr. Robin Witmer-Kline of Keystone Behavioral Health.
Dr. Robin Witmer-Kline has a passion for helping people. The psychotherapist at Keystone Behavioral Health says her mission is to help ease pain and suffering and try to make a positive difference in each person’s life—something she says all the staff at Keystone Health strive for.
Dr. Witmer-Kline started working at Keystone Behavioral Health almost 20 years ago. “I have been blessed and continue to be blessed working here with such caring people,” she said. “Our Keystone Behavioral Health team is very compassionate and genuinely cares about the people we serve as well as we care for each other.”
A typical day is a busy day. “I am usually scheduled with 8 patients or more each day,” she said. During her busiest days, Dr. Witmer-Kline says the patients who show appreciation really make a difference. “Seeing people getting better and their appreciation—that is such an uplifting experience for me.”
Dr. Witmer-Kline says balance is essential to her life, including “faith, family, friends, my teaching at Penn State University, and time alone.” She lives in Franklin County with her husband, Mike, and their golden retriever, Joey. “I love the rural area. I am a country girl at heart and love open spaces that allow us to look at beautiful scenery and spend time with God.”
Dr. Robin Witmer-Kline will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Eat Sleep Run Grow Conference on January 9, 2016. This event empowers women to become more confident and healthy in every area of their lives. To learn more or to register for the event, click here.
