The Keystone Health November Employee Spotlight shines on Dr. Jason Galicia of Keystone Internal Medicine.
As medical director of Keystone Internal Medicine and the Keystone Health Migrant Farmworker Program, Dr. Jason Galicia spends his days seeing patients, problem solving, and managing staff.
Dr. Galicia began his career at Keystone Health in 2009 as a staff physician for Keystone Internal Medicine and has found working at this Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to be a great fit for his skills. “Being a physician for a FQHC to me not only means a stable job but also an opportunity for me to care for this community and touch lives of people that I meet,” he said.
As a FQHC, Keystone Health has a mission to provide quality, compassionate primary medical, dental, behavioral and social services to anyone especially those who need it most. “At Keystone, I’m proud that we treat everybody fairly—that every patient gets the highest level of care regardless of income status or circumstances in life,” he said.
Dr. Galicia loves spending time with his wife, building Legos with his 5 year old son, and reading nursery rhymes to his 3 year old daughter. Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Galicia enjoys the quiet area of Franklin County and says it’s a great place to raise a family.
