The Keystone Health July Employee Spotlight shines on Paul Berkebile.
Paul Berkebile, retail pharmacy manager and pharmacist at Keystone Pharmacy, joined Keystone Health in 2011 before the pharmacy opened. Since the beginning, Paul has enjoyed seeing the pharmacy grow from when it opened its doors to the community to become the established and trusted pharmacy it is today.
Paul spends most of his days working behind the counter and one on one with customers. He takes a special interest in meeting with patients to help them understand their medications. “I’m proud to work for patients who appreciate us and trust us,” Paul said. “I’m proud to work at Keystone—it’s given me the opportunity to help people in many ways.”
When he’s not talking to patients or filling prescriptions, Paul manages the business side of the pharmacy by verifying prescriptions, taking inventory, generating reports, attending meetings, and working on policy and procedures. He’s excited to see the growth of the pharmacy continue into the future and thankful for the loyal patients they serve.
Paul lives in Franklin County with his wife – they will soon celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Together they have two grown sons. He says after living in Erie, PA for 21 years, he’s thankful for the weather of the Cumberland Valley.
