Diane Morrow, a program manager and case manager at Keystone Health, says she can’t remember ever leaving the office and thinking the day was wasted. She’s focused on the goal of helping Keystone’s patients find the care and treatment they need. “My job is like a giant puzzle and I love puzzles!” she said. “Whether I am working with a patient one on one or creating a program budget, there are many pieces that need to fit together in order to make sure our patients have what they need to maintain good health. What keeps me motivated is my natural drive to solve the puzzle, to look at all the options and figure out which fit together the best.”
Diane started working for Keystone as a case manager more than 10 years ago and was later offered the opportunity to become a program manager. She spends her time on a mix of phone calls and meetings, patient appointments, brainstorming sessions, and administrative duties. Hearing people’s stories and helping them is the best part of her job, she says. “Some days are hard, many are tiring, but all are rewarding. Every day I can identify at least one thing I did that made life a little better for someone else. That is not because I am a great person, it is because I have a great job,” she said.
Diane says Keystone Health is a place that wants to help the community. “I am the kind of person who sees a need and wants to figure out what can be done to fill that need. I think that is what Keystone does for our community. My department does a lot of “think outside the box” work and I am happy to work for a company that supports that,” she said.
Diane lives in the Fayetteville area and calls Micheaux Forest and Caledonia her back yard. She has a menagerie of children, all of the four legged variety, and enjoys horseback riding in the forest as stress relief. She loves the outdoors and says that one of her greatest treasures is living in this area.
