The Keystone Health Employee Spotlight for July shines on Crystal Kline of Keystone Family Medicine.
Crystal Kline joined Keystone Health in 2000 as a file room technician. A few years later she moved to become a scheduler and then lead scheduler at the practice. It was only a matter of time until she moved on to the scheduling supervisor and then office manager for Keystone Family Medicine.
Today the office manager for one of Keystone’s busiest practices spends her time checking on employee needs, assisting patients with questions from billing or the patient portal, scheduling providers or employees, and performing employee interviews and evaluations.
“My job constantly presents me with new challenges and each and every day is extremely motivating,” Crystal said. “I want the job that I do to reflect positively on my staff and my employer. I’ve always believed that no matter what I do, I need to give 100%, take pride in my work, and complete the job to the best of my ability.”
Crystal is proud to be a part of the Keystone family because of the organizations mission to provide medical care to anyone. “I’m very proud of the fact that no one is ever turned away because they don’t have the ability to pay I’m proud to be a part of a company that strives to do everything that it can possibly do to help people with their needs. I know of employees who continue to go over and above what is expected of them in an effort to ease a patient’s burden even if only for a while. I’ve been blessed to be able to see a few of the faces of those that have received “help from the heart” of Keystone employees and that look is priceless to me,” she said.
Crystal lives in Franklin County and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren. All of her family is close by so she gets to spend time with them regularly. She loves living in the area. “From the arts to eateries, for me, Chambersburg seems to have it all,” she said.
