The Keystone Health Employee Spotlight for November shines on Cecilia Dehart of the Keystone Pediatrics Chambersburg Office.
Cecilia began working at Keystone in 2006 as a Medical Records Technician at Family Medicine, and then moved on to become their Referral Specialist. She transferred to Keystone Pediatrics in 2008.
While she stays busy from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. completing non-stop referrals and prior authorizations, she still finds time to enjoy her work.
“I love helping the patients,” Cecilia said. “When I get cards or a ‘thank you’ from parents for helping their child get scheduled for an appointment or a medication filled, it keeps me motivated to do what I do. And it helps working with the wonderful doctors and co-workers here.”
Cecilia likes her job so much that she commutes over an hour to work each way.
“Working at Keystone makes me proud because we see patients no one else normally would, and give them quality care,” she said. “Both my husband and I have worked in the Chambersburg area for over ten years, so it is almost like a second home.”
In her spare time, Cecilia enjoys reading, refinishing old trunks, and going to antique flea markets to see what old things she can find. She has four adult daughters, and she and her husband own a small goat farm in Three Springs, PA.
Thank you Cecilia, for all that you do for Keystone and our patients!
