We’re committed to providing quality dental care to all our patients. To help us serve you better, we’ve updated our appointment policy. Please take a moment to review the guidelines below:
Missed or Late-Cancelled Appointments
If you miss an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, it may affect your ability to schedule future visits in advance.
If you do not confirm your appointment, it will be canceled.
New Patients
- First Missed or Late-Cancelled Appointment: You’ll be placed on a waitlist for emergency appointments. We’ll offer you a future appointment as openings become available.
- Second Missed or Late-Cancelled Appointment: You’ll be moved to Same-Day Scheduling, which means you can only book appointments for the current or next day.
Patients Referred from Other Keystone Services
- Same policy as new patients:
- First Missed or Late Cancelled Appointment: Waitlist for emergency appointments.
- Second Missed or Late Canceled Appointment: Shift to Same-Day Scheduling.
Established Dental Patients
- First Missed or Late Cancelled Appointment: You’ll receive a letter explaining our attendance policy and a reminder that a second missed appointment will result in scheduling changes.
- Second Missed or Late Cancelled Appointment: You’ll be placed on Same-Day Scheduling.
- Returning to Regular Scheduling: You’ll need to attend two scheduled appointments in a row, on time.
Exceptions & Appeals
We understand that emergencies happen. If you miss an appointment due to a serious situation (like hospitalization or a family emergency), you may request an exception. Appeals will be reviewed by our Dental Department Director or their designee.
