Dr. Faruqui completed his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He completed medical school at Rajshahi Medical School in Rajshahi, Bangladesh and his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Patna in Patna, India.
Dr. Faruqui directs the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) clinic at Keystone, as well as the Esketamine (intra nasal Ketamine) program for treatment resistant depression. Dr. Faruqui is licensed in prescribing treatment with Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Faruqui also serves as the President-Elect for the Central Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society and has served as the Education Chair at Pennsylvania Psychiatric society (central chapter). He is an assistant professor of Psychiatry at Drexel University School of Medicine and clinical faculty member at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and member of the Clinical TMS society.
Dr. Faruqui was awarded with the “Healthcare Heroes Award” by the Central Penn Business Journal in 2022.
