Dr. Mania completed the adult psychiatry residency training in the Department of Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. During his residency he served on an Executive Steering Committee and was a Chief Resident. He completed a year-long residency elective at the institute of addictive disorders at Drexel and participated in the fellowship program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. Dr. Mania has an extensive research background in Electrophysiology from the Department of Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Mania is a vice-chairman of the Mental Health advisory Board for the Franklin and Fulton counties and serves as a President-Elect for the Central Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society. Dr. Mania is a clinical faculty member at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and an affiliated professor at the University of Georgia. He is a member of education committee at clinical TMS society.
Dr. Mania is licensed in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Dr. Mania is a recipient of several awards for clinical excellence including the “Everyday Hero Award” from Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED).
