OUR GOAL: GETTING TO ZERO…zero new HIV infections, zero new AIDS related deaths, zero stigma and discrimination.
All over the world organizations and governments are adopting the goal of GETTING TO ZERO.
In south central Pennsylvania, Keystone HIV Program is adopting the goal of GETTING TO ZERO.
Many people are not aware of the danger of HIV/AIDS. Every year on average 60,000 people in the United States become newly infected. It is vital that we all do our part in learning the truth about HIV and AIDS.
The most powerful tool in the fight against HIV/AIDS is education. Our community outreach services bring HIV education, risk assessment, and testing to individuals and groups in the community. Our education program is designed to accommodate the diversity of our community. We tailor our presentations to meet the needs of our audience, focusing on making education an interactive experience with an open dialogue of questions and answers. Our goal is to share scientifically proven information that will dispel the myths and misinformation about HIV/AIDS. Education can take place in churches, schools, workplaces, housing developments, clinics, hospitals, colleges, businesses, health fairs, newspapers, and on radio and television. We will partner with your organization to provide an education and/or testing event. Our services are free to both hosting organization and participant.
