The same great care you’ve come to expect will remain but other changes will make it easier to get care. Effective February 2, Keystone Walk-In Care will become Keystone Urgent Care. The name change comes along with many patient focused improvements including extended hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to better serve patients, and more providers on staff to offer shorter wait times. The practice will remain in its current location in the Cochran Professional Center, 830 Fifth Avenue in Chambersburg.
Dr. Caleb Nwosu, medical director of Keystone Urgent Care, said patients will notice improvements to the practice as wait times have shortened and patients can have more flexibility of when to seek care. “Now that we’re open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, patients have the chance to get care for general issues before or after work or school, when it’s most convenient for them,” he said.
Kristy Bush, director of Keystone Urgent Care, said the name change better reflects the care they provide patients. “We provide immediate care for patients when they are sick or injured,” she said. “It is also a nice option for parents so they can receive the reassurance they need for their sick child prior to putting them to bed or helping them decide if the child is well enough to attend school.”
