The Keystone Health Employee Spotlight for August shines on Angela Valle of Keystone Dental Care.
Dental assistant Angela Valle has been working for Keystone since 2012. She was hired as a bilingual receptionist for the check out area and then seven months later took a new role as the dental assistant.
Angela is proud to be a dental assistant. “Knowing that my job is not only about helping or assisting the dentists but also helping patients feel comfortable and secure by educating them about procedures and guiding them on every step before, during, and after their procedure,” she said.
Keystone Dental Care is like family to Angela. “Coming from a different country (Puerto Rico) and not knowing anything about how things work here in the US was a bit scary until I started working at Keystone Dental Care,” she said. “For me is been more than a blessing been able to work with such wonderful group of people that I call my family. The way they made me feel right at home from the first day was amazing. I would say that what makes me proud to work at Keystone is our awesome hard working staff.”
Angela wakes up at 5:30 each morning to get her daughter and son ready for school. She grabs a cup of coffee and heads to work to prepare rooms for specific dental procedures. After an active day, she heads home to her family—she calls Chambersburg home. “Chambersburg is a really good place to raise a family in a healthy and safe environment. That’s what I love about this area,” she said.
