The Interpreter/Translator provides interpretation and translation, both written and verbal of English and Spanish, to facilitate the delivery of audiology, speech, and occupational therapy services to Spanish-speaking patients, parents, and/or caregivers.
Your role is vital in bridging the gap for our Spanish speaking patients by teaming up with a provider to assist in any interpretation needs. Other duties include assisting with billing, scheduling, patient follow ups, translation of written materials such as training and home programs, updating patient charts, and performing other office duties as assigned.
This position is an office clinical setting and works mostly with children from toddler ages to young adult. Work week is Monday through Friday, no holidays, or weekends.
Interpreter /Translator Qualifications:
High School Diploma/ GED. Prior medical translating experience is preferred. Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
