Bilingual Outreach Worker (English/Spanish) – Northwest PA, Part-Time
Keystone Health is looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a passion for helping the migrant community.
The responsibilities of the Outreach Worker/Interpreter role include providing verbal interpretation for patients when working with the English-speaking clinical staff, registering clients into the Keystone Agricultural Worker program, providing health screenings and health education in the field, and participating in outreach efforts in the community.
This role will primarily be helping with office duties in the Northwest Region that oversees the following counties:
Jefferson, Clarion, Forest, Warren, Mercer, Erie, Crawford, Butler, Venango, Lawrence
Qualifications: The individual must have a high school diploma and must have taken Spanish III or higher; additional post-secondary education in Spanish and/or nursing or a related field is preferred. Experience in providing translation services is required. Prior experience translating in a health care setting is preferred. Fluent in Spanish and English mandatory.
