Dental Sterilization Technician (Part-Time)

Part Time (20-25 hours per week)

Monday-Friday

No Weekends or Holidays

Details:

• Keystone Pediatric Dental Care is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen year.
• Part time hours; 5 days a week averaging 20-25 hours per week.
• This is an afternoon/evening shift that will be responsible for the cleaning of all instruments at the end of the business day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers in maintaining a clean and sterile treatment environment, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Manage the resource room by ensuring all resources are in good working order, properly stored, and complete. Identify and address any loose or missing pieces and assist in obtaining replacements.
• Provide Support with the sterilization of instruments, including required maintenance and logging of sterilization equipment.
• Assist dental assistants in operatories and treatment rooms to maintain patient schedules.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school graduate or GED equivalency is required.
• Certification in Dental Radiology in the state of Pennsylvania, preferred but not required.
