Full-Time (40 hours weekly)
Monday – Friday
8:30am-5:00pm
No weekends or holidays!
The Buyer will submit purchase orders for the procurement of printed materials, office supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, other materials, and equipment using Group Purchasing Organization agreements as necessary for Keystone Health to obtain best pricing and quality. This position is an entry-level position within the purchasing department.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalency required. A minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing experience in the medical field is preferred with knowledge of basic supply chain processes. Experience managing projects and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment is helpful.
The successful candidate will have strong negotiation and organizational skills, customer service experience, be detail oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work well independently and in a team environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially in Excel. Spanish language skills a plus but not required.
